Why do you do what you do?
100cameras believes that children should be both heard and defended. And our mission was founded upon the simple idea that we could teach photography to children and then use their photos to better their community. To teach them that not only does their perspective matter to the world outside their borders, but that their art can create a more promising future. Because with cameras in hand, the children become the storytellers. Their voices are the narrative behind each photo. And by sharing their narratives with others, we are able to connect their perspectives with audiences around the world in creative and engaging ways that compel individuals to act.

What’s one thing you want people to know?
Photography can literally change the world when you purchase a photo from 100cameras.org. Because when you purchase one of the children’s prints, 100% of your money will be used to create positive change in their community through the efforts of our on-the-ground partners.

Why do you do what you do?
Design means spending my days helping amazing startups and social enterprises solve real challenges through the focused application of creativity. There’s nothing more satisfying than starting with nothing, and ending up with a product that completely blows people away, and that you know will make a tangible difference in their work. It’s organizations like Selfless Tee that make me so excited to do what I do.
